What are the Treatments Like?

You will start by lying down on a treatment bed, and a gel will be applied to your skin. The gel is meant to help the applicator glide more smoothly and protect your skin from the heat. The technician will then move the applicator around on your skin in smooth, consistent motions.
What you will feel is warm heat and pulsating sensations for about 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the length of your session. If you want to sleep during it – go for it! Or just relax and let your mind unwind from the stresses of the day. Once the treatment is complete, you might notice your skin being a little red and warm, but this will subside within a few hours.
How Many Treatments Do I Need?
When you meet with Dr. Berlet, an individualized treatment plan can be determined based on your needs and expectations. Generally speaking, six treatments are recommended for the face and eight for the neck and other parts of the body. But it’s possible that you could need more or less depending on the improvement you want to see.
