Chin surgery can change the shape of a chin to either reduce a prominent chin or to extend the chin from the face. A weak chin can often times be connected with a less confident appearance. Often times, extending the chin will enhance a jawline as well. This is often done in conjunction with suction of the neck fat. This can be performed under local anesthesia in the office as well.
